Exciting Times for Downtown Columbia

This is exciting times for residents living near downtown Columbia as we get closer and closer to the opening of retail in the Merriweather District. New details on leasing of the Merriweather District from the Baltimore Business Journal (paywall) include news that several Baltimore-based restaurants will be announced in the coming weeks for the Spring 2020 phase set to join DC favorites Busboy & Poets, Matchbox Pizza; Dok Thao Thai Eatery, and Clove and Cardamom. Thereafter, phase 2 is planned for Fall 2021; phase 3 in 2024. Spaces in the merchandising plan for these phases are currently labeled "National Steakhouse", "juicebar", "salon", and "boutique fitness".
